This notice covers this website and email with us. The Judiscend app will come with its own notice, setting out what each version sends and where.
Who we are.
EQUINOX LOGIC LTD, a private limited company registered in England and Wales (company number 16917204), with its registered office at Office 16180, 182-184 High Street North, East Ham, London, E6 2JA, United Kingdom, is responsible for the personal data described here. Contact us at [email protected].
This website.
This site has no cookies, no analytics, no tracking scripts and no forms. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address and browser details to deliver the pages and protect the site from attacks. We don’t use that data to identify you.
If you email us.
We use your email address and what you write to reply to you. Our email is hosted by Lark.
- When you ask a question, we keep the conversation while we deal with it and delete it within 90 days after it’s resolved, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
- When you apply to be a founding user, we use your answers only to decide whether to invite you and to reply. If we don’t invite you, we delete your email within 12 months, or straight away if you ask. If you become a founding user, we keep our emails while you use Judiscend.
We don’t add you to a newsletter, and we don’t sell or share your address.
Why we’re allowed to.
We reply to your email because you wrote to us and it is in our legitimate interest to answer. We read your application because you asked to be considered, as a step before any purchase; you can withdraw it at any time by writing to us.
Where it’s processed.
Cloudflare and Lark may process data outside the United Kingdom. We rely on the safeguards they provide for international transfers.
Your rights.
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to how we use it. Write to [email protected]. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
The app.
Your Judiscend records are stored on your own Mac. We don’t receive them. When you use the app, what it sends goes to the AI and search services you choose, under your own account. For 14 days after you buy, the app checks once a day whether your purchase was refunded, sending only your licence number. After that it doesn’t check again. The app’s notice will list this in full before it goes on sale.
Your Mac
- Your judgments and conversations, encrypted
- The key: on this Mac, and in your own iCloud Keychain if you use it
- Your books, highlights and notes
- Export everything, any time.In formats you can read without Judiscend.
- Delete means delete. It’s removed from your Mac. Copies already sent to an AI service, or kept in your own backups, are out of our reach, and we say so.
- It keeps working without us.Your copy works without our servers. Encryption protects the files if someone takes them; it doesn’t protect a Mac that’s unlocked and open.
- Not our product. We don’t train AI on your records, sell them or use them for ads.
Changes.
If this notice changes, we’ll update it here and change the date at the top.
